Andre’ Bongibaud was born in Paris, France where he also studied at Beaux Arts, and at the Grande Chaumiere. He first began his career in advertising and illustration and by the age of 40 returned to painting. He is passionately fond of Greek mythology and archeology, and draws his inspiration from this part of the world. His favorite subjects are small harbors, shaded terraces, the white walls of Aegean villages and rare colorful flowers. His art has been exhibited in France, Japan, Poland, Greece, Taiwan and Spain.
