Daniele Cambier (1939–)
Daniele Cambier was born in Paris in 1939. Her work has been exhibited frequently at the Palais des Congres of Paris, in numerous shows and in presentations of the Chambre des Metiers of Paris.
She spent her childhood and adolescence among the paintbrushes and aesthetic research of her father. But at the moment of choice for a career, ironically she was not drawn to the solitary work of the painter but in fact, preferred the human contact of the theater. She became an actress and embarked on many theatrical tours in France and abroad.
Little by little, painting began to take precedence once again in her life and over her other theatrical activities. From that time forward she has devoted herself entirely to visual art.
Initially, she was drawn to painting on silk, but eventually the years spent learning the rigorous discipline of the unforgiving technique of watercolor took over, and she has never ceased to continue to work in that medium. She remains fascinated with the beauty of nature, landscape, and the details of the city and creates exceptional works, which typically combine all three elements in harmony.
