Donna Taylor has always been oriented to the arts. Born and raised in rural northwestern Wisconsin, she was surrounded by scenes of natural beauty. To her it seemed logical to try to capture this beauty. She pursued her dream while raising a family and moving from base to base with her husband, who was in the Army at the time. Visiting the many museums while in Europe added to her understanding of composition in creating a work of art. Upon her husband’s retirement to Florida, she became actively involved in her artistic endeavors, exhibiting hr paintings locally and statewide. Over the years she has been involved in several galleries; she also owns her own gallery. Her watercolors are collected locally and nationally. She has always used vibrant, clean, cheerful colors in her work. Her collectors treasure her works for their implied joyful statement that ‘Life is good and the sun still shines and flowers bloom.’
