Elmer Garcia (1961–)
Born in Piura, Peru in 1961, Elmer is one of the most promising painters of the young generation of artists that studied at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in Peru, where he studied from 1984 to 1990. His painting is stylized, in spite of his traditional subjects, which tend to be mostly, still life studies. Elmer has had several exhibitions that include very distinguished galleries like the Municipalidad de Lince in Lima.
