Michel Delacroix (1933–)

Born in 1933, Michel Delacroix studied at the Lycee Louis-le-Grand in Paris. He has received numerous awards in recognition of his outstanding naive style of painting, including the 1973 Prix Public, Prix Pro Arte (Merges, Switzerland), 1975 Grand Prix des Ama-teurs d'Art (Paris), 1976 Prix de la Cote d'Azure (Cannes) and Premier Prix des Sept Collines (Rome).

Among the many galleries which have exhibited Delacroix's paintings and graphics are the Galerie Romi, Galerie 93, Salon d'Automne, Salon Comparison, Salon des Independents, Salon des Artists Frangais, Paris; Arts Guild Exposition, Monte Carlo; Atelier Hamburg, Galerie Carlotte, Munich and Centre Culturel Franjais, Luxembourg.
