Park West Gallery kicked of their summer initiative, Park West Cares, in June and has given over 3,500 items of clothing and merchandise to charities.  This initiative which has helped local shelters, soup kitchens and other non-profit groups in the Detroit metropolitan area will extend through the end of 2010.  Some of the local organizations which have already received clothing have asked for more to meet the ever-increasing need in this hard-hit economy.  Park West Gallery has pledged to donate more items to these groups in the coming weeks.
